“As we say goodbye to a very difficult and challenging Year of the Rat, we welcome the new Year of the Ox with enthusiasm and hope for a brighter year ahead of us.

“Traditionally, the ox represents hard work, honesty, and perseverance. We all need these traits to continue our fight against the pandemic.    

“This year gatherings with families and friends will look different. No matter the adversity, we as Canadians will be strong and resilient. Together we can overcome any challenge.

“On behalf of Canada’s Conservatives, I hope this year will be filled with success, peace, and new positive beginnings for all.”
