Ottawa, ON – The Hon. Erin O’Toole, Leader of Canada’s Conservatives and the Official Opposition, released the following statement on Black History Month:

“February marks Black History Month, an opportunity to honour Black Canadians who have contributed immeasurably to the successes and dreams of our country.

“I encourage all Canadians to celebrate this vibrant part of Canada’s heritage by learning more about the stories and history of Canada’s Black community.

“May we all work together to pass on to future generations a country where everyone can thrive and succeed.”
