“Today, Christians across Canada and around the world are celebrating the miracle of the resurrection.

“Easter Sunday is the most important day of the Christian calendar. Christians are celebrating the hope of salvation that Christ secured for us on the cross.

“These days, more than ever, Canadians need this ultimate hope. Despite the trials and challenges we continue to face, I pray that we can all find rest in the joy of the resurrection.

“No matter your faith tradition, I know all Canadians can celebrate the spirit of love, joy, and peace that Easter inspires. On behalf of the Conservative Party of Canada, I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter.”
